    The Regatta is quickly approaching.
I have been overwhelmed by the great support that has already come in.
I am really excited as to how the weekend is lining up as well.  The traditional cocktail party will be Wednesday night hosted by the Lady's Auxiliary.  Friday night, Martin's BBQ will set up and serve a BBQ buffet with all of the fixings, while we listen to Bluegrass as the sun sets over the harbor.  The actual Regatta will take place over the weekend, and we will celebrate Father's Day with a brunch provided by the cooking committee Sunday morning.
 
                The purpose of this email is a final attempt to see if anyone else would be willing to sponsor the Regatta this year.  Currently we have raised $21,700.  This is more than enough to put on the event, but one main goal through this fundraising is to be able to make a donation to our youth sailing program.  The young people that come through this program and the camps that the James Island Yacht Club puts on create awesome experiences for member's families every year.  At the end of March, I have to make the t-shirt order with all of the logos from sponsors.  That gives us till the end of the month to continue to raise money.
  
                To those that have given, I cannot thank you enough.  My hope is that this year's Regatta will be a special weekend remembered for a long time.  Please reach out if you have any questions!!  Cheers and have a great week!!!
